Boosting business resilience with brand messaging that communicates your true value

Welcome to Deep Messaging Month! I’ve been excited about diving deep into this topic - if you’ve followed me for a while, you know I love messaging - but obviously the world has changed since I planned these episodes. We’ll still be talking about how you can craft excellent brand messaging, but now we have the backdrop of the COVID-19 crisis.

Most importantly, I hope that you and your loved ones are safe. All of us are navigating a lot of uncertainty right now, and for us business owners we need to find a way to trim back to our most essential messages and services. You need to know where you function most effectively so you can boost your business resilience and continue serving people to your highest ability.

Now is the time to dig in and make sure your brand messaging is specific and highly useful. You do not need to be going broad or venturing outside your zone of genius. You need to focus on finding your truth and sharing it effectively and consistently so that when your people find you, they know they’re in exactly the right place. The goal is to clearly communicate your true value with your ideal clients.

In this episode, I’ll tell you what deep messaging is and why I think becoming irresistible and essential is key to business success. I’ll talk about the three things that help service-based businesses grow with more ease and why deep brand messaging is one of the most important foundations of your business. If you’re wondering how to find your core value proposition and unique messaging, this is the perfect episode for you.

What You’ll Learn from this Episode:

  • Why businesses will need to strip back to the essentials for the foreseeable future.
  • What deep messaging is and why it makes everything about your business better and easier.
  • How to create brand messaging that is specific, compelling and clear.
  • My own experiences with refining my messaging and how it has made my business better and more resilient.
  • Why your messaging should be relevant, real and relatable (and how to achieve this).
  • The relationship between your core value proposition and your core messages.

Hey there. I know what it's like to try and fail over and over again. I've been through all the mindset ups and downs, feeling like a failure and wondering why it's so hard to attract amazing clients consistently.

I finally realized, more recently that I'd like to admit, I was still hiding. I was afraid to put my work into the world in case no one wanted it. What I really wanted was for someone to say, "hey you, your stuff is great, come share it with my audience".  Finally I realized that that would never happen, not until I started first.

Putting out my content and message into the world had to begin with me. I  committed to showing up consistently and building my own meaningful relationships. The result? Much more clarity about how to gain visibility and grow my brand. And, of course, THIS PODCAST which I'm thrilled to host!
