Everyone is burdened by limiting beliefs. Sometimes we don’t even know we have them. My entrepreneurial ones have held some of my biggest blocks. They are stories I’ve told myself that have held me back from putting my work out into the world.
Limiting beliefs represent my fears, my upbringing and how my personality influences my business.
We all have limiting beliefs and they are tricky to identify. We come up with excuses that seem legit but they are related to a bigger picture block that likely shows up in other areas of our life too.
In this weeks video I go over my top 5 limiting beliefs that I’ve held in my business and how I get around them. Essentially, creating new stories that guide me.
Now, you can find out what they are by watching this video:
Want a sneak peak before you watch the video? I’ve also laid out what I’ve grappled with here:
- Other people are already teaching this stuff so why should I
- It takes too much work to start this new path
- I gotta hold something back
- I gotta be the smartest, best, most excited etc.
- I have to learn this on my own because I don’t have the profit to invest
Identifying these help me to come up with a new way of thinking. One that recognizes that we all have a voice and we are responsible for sharing our views, encouragement and support.
The world is a better place when we show up, even if other people are teaching the same things and it costs money to be heard. Plus we realize additional benefits from being seen.
Do you share some of the limiting beliefs I listed above? Or do you have some juicy ones of your own. I’d love to hear about that and how you get around them.
Share them with us in the Facebook group or on my Facebook page.
