Let these three words guide you

The intentions you set guide your choices. This leads to good things showing up in your life.

I have been asked by a few people to pick three words that symbolize what I want to get out of the year ahead. I chose ones that will help me focus. This is quite different than my usual wanting it all and getting only some approach.

My words are Connection, Venture and Flow. This is what they mean to me.

Connection is everything to me. It’s the feeling I have when I feel love and loved, on purpose and joyful. I love this word because it’s the manifestation of love. It’s an easy one for me to notice when I have it and when I don’t. I know how to get it when I feel it’s lacking.

According to wikipedia venture is a risky or daring journey or undertaking. Ooh la la. I recognized recently that if I had taken one step in the direction of every idea, I’d be much more satisfied. I aspire to be bold and risky in all aspects of my life so bring on venture!

Finally flow may not be exactly what you might first imagine. It stems from cashflow. I simply want more to flow in and out, with ease.

Now it’s your turn.

Before you choose too quickly be careful what you wish for. Last year I had one word, Aloha – a word that encompasses many things love, affection, compassion, mercy, and is used as hello and goodbye. I read somewhere that its meaning goes beyond any definition you can find in the dictionaries. Well, I had a lot of all of the above this year, almost more than I could handle.
