Herrainco is a brand strategy and design company that has been around for more than 30 years. Herrainco’s principal Casey has seen many changes in the industry and continues to stay current through teaching, taking innovative courses and transforming the brands of her clients.

She is passionate about design-thinking how a powerful brand can connect a company to its customers. She is a true leader in her field.

Like any other firm in a competitive industry, Casey is engaged in marketing activities to keep on radar of the clients she can serve best. She engages in the usual stuff such as in-person connections, phone calls, proposals. etc.

We all know the hustle.

It’s age old customer relationship management (CRM) and it generally does the trick. But there is something missing to this approach that would make it so much more engaging – your unique value and knowledge, otherwise know as your IP. IP stands for intellectual property and it’s the information, ideas or components that create commercial value.

Your IP is what makes you special and unique to work within a real niche of people. Knowing and sharing this magic is what seeds conversations and gets people excited to learn more.

The IP for someone like Casey is her extensive knowledge and experience in design and her passion for creativity and innovation. She knows how to create a brand story for her clients so they can really engage their customers.

It was fun to watch a lightbulb go off with her the other day when she realized that she hasn’t been sharing her passion at the deepest level of those she most wishes to impact.

Now she is conscious of creating conversations that add real value to the knowledge base of her ideal customers. Her passion for connected communities and her continuous learning in design and innovation are a gift that she can share more broadly with her contacts and in all of her marketing strategies.

When you have that much knowledge of an industry and experience working with a unique type of customer don’t keep it to yourself. Here are some ideas on how share it:

  • Anyalyze your prospects situation or materials and share some of your findings and how you can help them with your unique solution.
  • Write up a blog post or a series of them about what you are learning with some case studies of how it’s working. Add these links to your emails.
  • Develop a campaign with a theme and drip out small snippets of that information on social media throughout that week or month.
  • Pitch your knowledge to bloggers, magazines or podcasters who are always looking for awesome content with an individual spin.

If it’s your time to shine you know that you need to get your wisdom into the world. If you are having troubles doing that, I can help you with the What, When and How with my business coaching packages.
