Fall back in love with your business

fallinlovewithbiz

Have you ever felt like your business is the most intense partnership you’ve ever experienced?

Euphoric at times, flat at others and sometimes you just want to move on. And almost do …

Take a moment to reflect on if this changes according to the seasons or relative to your other relationships or even how you compare yourself to competitors.

Sometimes when you feel at your lowest a breath of fresh air comes in to boost you back up – a new client, a wave of referrals, a burst of creativity or a new product you just can’t wait to build.

You probably do things differently when you are in love with your work than when you are ready to give up. Your creativity and productivity are at a high, you push through doubts and you feel less fear when putting new ideas in front of prospects.

These new opportunities usually come when we need them, often after an extended low period just to get us back on track. And that tends to work, for a while … until the the cycle begins again.

It happens to everyone. I’ve been through it many times, some minor and a major one which had me looking at job postings. I had completely flat-lined in my business and was no longer excited about doing the work that I have always loved. It wasn’t because I wasn’t doing the right work. It was just that I needed a new perspective.

A new perspective is the single most powerful thing you can infuse into your business.

Perspective is how I got on a more stable course, got more clear on what I offer, more sure of who needs my help and what I need to do to connect to them authentically.

I have gotten that in a number of ways – making space to empty my brain through meditation, taking a break from finding new clients to research the latest tools and recalibrate my own purpose and value proposition. It has all been amazing!

I haven’t done it alone. I have had my best colleagues help me think through what I do best and I am currently enrolled in an incredible Business Coaching apprentice program that is giving me tools to create my own Quiet Power Strategy and a licence do the same for my clients. It’s like rocket fuel for my business.

Do you need some rocket fuel?

I want you to fall back in love with your business again for good.

There is a framework for this. It comes from discerning and focusing on your distinct value. Knowing the qualities and skills that set you apart from everyone else will help you move forward with clarity and strength instead of fear. This perceptive, concentrated approach gives you the confidence to expand (either broadly or deeply – your choice) and keep going.

Core work in any area of your life gives you a foundation of strength – whether it’s physical, emotional or educational. We all make investments in the areas we want to grow.

Why don’t we all do this in our business?

When entrepreneurs don’t invest, they feel directionless, cycle-up and down more often and don’t get consistent results. I have personally had too many long periods of not nurturing my own skills and qualities and learned that the best business development investment comes from investing in me.

Gain confidence in your goals by using perception to position your business and highlight your distinct value. When you develop a clear strategy from that knowledge your energy will soar making it easy to take consistent purposeful action every single day.

I can help you do this through a single of Soul Strategy Session to give you some insights to your best steps forward or investing in your bigger vision and goals with a Transform Your Business coaching program.

Fall back in love with you and you’ll fall back in love with your business. This is simply the most effective turning point to confidently move forward.
