They had taken a break from their business other than selling their one main course once per year and a few DVDs…

Adding to that, they were giving a lot of their valuable knowledge away for free through emails, blogs & through their podcast and too little selling.
It was time to monetize their expertise. They were ready to get back to their business, to teach as many people as possible how to create a sustainable off-grid lifestyle like their own, and get paid for it.

There simply wasn’t anyone else providing real-time, customized and hands-on information about this topic in the broad category of living … that keeps evolving and changing as the world does.

Create an irresistible offer
Prior to our VIP session, Nick & Lisa went through the Membership School course and came up with an outline for their membership program.
During our session, the first thing we worked on was ironing out what would be included and how much they could charge for it.
Initially, Nick & Lisa wanted to deliver more value for a lower price but during our session we crunched some numbers and were able to come up with a more sustainable and profitable price-point that better matched the level of service they intended to provide.
WIthin our initial VIP session we had mapped out the contents, cadence and value of their offer, including where they would host it.
They were excited to get it in front of their audience. Next we focused on how they would get their audience to be as excited as they were.
Launch & Sell It with Confidence
Every year Nick & Lisa would do a video sales letter for their audience and this year they’d be opening doors to The Ready Life Academy for the first time.
They decided to launch it during this same week with a more robust webinar training.
To do this successfully they needed:
- A compelling sales page
- A webinar to create a connection and trust from their intention to their offer
- An email sales sequence that included an clear deadline
Critical feedback provided by me during this phase included:
- Edits to the sales page to dramatically reduced the amount of text and detail and put sections of copy in the right order
- Training on how to write irresistible sales emails (inside Membership School)
- A template and training on how to create a high-converting webinar (inside Membership School)
- Support, words of advice and encouragement before & during their launch
They knocked it out of the park!
94% opted into the Annual Subscription
The results were astounding. Considering they had a very old list with a number of people who were not used to buying online education or familiar with memberships, they:
- Had 67 people join their membership, which was close to 1% of their entire list
- Earned ~$19k cash in the hand from this initial launch
- Got half of their sales on the last day
