3 ways to earn more by knowing, doing & being less

Adding value to our lives doesn’t mean doing more holistic, remedial activities. Most entrepreneurs could benefit first from taking inefficient activities off their plate rather than building healthy ones in.

In an earn more by knowing more, doing more, being more culture it’s hard to step back and say, “Whoah let’s reset completely!”

Since it’s hard to do, here are three strategies that will provide you with the space you need to grow your revenue and your brand.

Focus on only a couple offers

The first time I sat down (over Skype) with one of my clients she presented her goals. Her business was fairly new. Even though she had been coaching for a a few years, she had really just given it one full year of effort (well, one full year with three young kids kind of effort).

Her goals consisted of adding 3 or 4 new services to the 4 or 5 that she already had on her website. She thought that in order to grow her revenue she had to create different formats for people to choose from. Different structures to fit different needs.

What she actually needed to do was focus on who she does her best work with and guide them towards the best services she offers.

Micro businesses should have two (maybe three) products/programs services MAX. Unless you are in the business of bright shiny objects, less is more. People need to be guiding towards how you serve them best. You are the expert, you give them what you have designed to give them the most value.

Some of the biggest players who make millions in their businesses only sell ONE thing. Focus creates brilliant outcomes.

Know what a few people want

To give people the best of what you offer you need to know what a few of them want. The ones who are your best clients, the one who are loyal, get so much out of working with you and keep an eye on what you are doing. You create for them. Not the customer who isn’t going to be in your life for long.

You can take the short-term clients but don’t build for them, it will dilute your brand and drain your energy.

Be yourself

There is nothing more soul-sucking than denying who you really are and trying to be like everyone else. It’s tiring, it’s defeating and it doesn’t help you grow confident in who you are.

So who are you? You thought you knew who you are and what you stood for until you had to become even more specific and then relate it to your business. Knowing this requires truth and honesty. It’s an unwavering look into the mirror and 100% acceptance of who looks back at you.

Owning your power, your passion, your fierceness, opinions, attention to detail, desire for meticulous research or high standards etc. is your ticket to an unstoppable purpose-filled life and business to boot.

If you know it but are having trouble extracting it and putting it into your value proposition and making it front and centre of your brand, let’s talk. Don’t wait any longer.
